Anytime you are involved with something ‘greater’ than you it yields discipline, strength, and courage. Horses put things into perspective. Horses don’t cut any slack. It is more important to communicate with a horse because of their size. If you don’t have effective communication and learn in the moment, the horse will tell you otherwise. In the sense that they bring you into the present. They remind us what is important—especially when you have them at your own home. When you feed and care for them yourself, it is different.
